Juneteenth Michigan Chapter is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on the enrichment of all lives

through African American History, Health Education and overall Self-improvement. Dedicated to upholding

excellence, promoting positivity throughout the Metropolitan Detroit Area. The Juneteenth Michigan Chapter

continuously aides’ local charities through donations and/or manpower.  Since our inception in 2012 over 90%

of the proceeds raised have been awarded to deserving charities.  Which include Gleaners Food Bank Detroit,

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Charles H. Wright Museum.

 

We celebrate Juneteenth, African American Independence Day, to inspire and get the communities of Michigan

involved in this celebration. Michigan, lets come together in appreciation, reconciliation, and commemoration of

Juneteenth.
